How do I sign-up ?

Whilst we are building our automated online order & payment system, we ask that you complete a very short sign-up form here with your details so we can contact you, or simply give us a call on +44 (0)1296 298 750 at quub HQ. 

What is an SSL Certificate?

A Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a globally standard safeguarding technology that keeps internet connections secure between a website server and a users browser. We include SSL as part of any hosting and maintenance plan. This technology is especially important for secure credit card transactions, data transfer, logins and becoming the norm when securing browsing of social media platforms. Sadly, search engines such as Google are punishing websites without SSL certificates by marking you down in search engine rankings and negatively impacting your trust rating on the internet.

How do I pay for a price plan?

Our WordPress hosting & maintenance plans are made payable to quub via a direct debit or standing order, either annually, quarterly or monthly on the 1st of each calendar month.

Do price plans include hosting?

Yes hosting is included! We only maintain websites hosted on our premium UK dedicated server. This gives us full control of your website and database install should any technical issues arise, allowing us to address fixes quickly, as opposed to not being able to gain access to a third-party server.

Do you offer email support?

Sadly we do not offer any email hosting or setup services. There are many easy-to-use email providers that offer quick, dedicated support such as Zoho, Office 365 or our favourite, Google’s GSuite platform.

How is my website moved to your server?

If you go ahead with our hosting and maintenance package we’ll migrate your website across from your old hosting provider to our premium UK server space, free of charge. All we need from you is the websites backend admin ‘username’ and ‘password’ including the FTP/SFTP login details. It’s as easy as that!

How do I update content on my website?

It’s really simple! Send us a ‘ticket’ using our online ticketing system which prompts you to fill in specific details of your content, design or imagery changes. Your requests are turned around as quickly as possible (usually within 12-24hours, then we reply to your ticket when they have been completed.

Do you offer bespoke plans?

We like to keep things simple and understand each website is unique. If you think there are some technical elements and specialised services your website requires we can advise on the best approach, and in some cases design a bespoke hosting & maintenance package to suit those factors.

How do I cancel a plan?

We offer a ‘no contract’ service to our customers. We simply ask you to give us as much notice as possible if you wish to cancel or freeze your price plan (Usually 1 to 3 months in advance). There are no additional costs or fees if you advise us to cancel your plan with immediate effect. We can also provide you with a back-up copy of your website.
