On a sunny Sunday afternoon in August, we visited the Boer War Memorial monument at the Coombe Hill viewpoint, erected in 1904. Etched on the side of the Chiltern Hills, overlooking Aylesbury Vale, it marks the memory of the 148 men from Buckinghamshire who lost their lives during the Boer War.
We proudly surveyed this impressive landmark to showcase a pilot 3D virtual tour to present to the National Trust. Our aim was to provide a simple online gateway for people with limited mobility, disabilities or health restrictions, allowing them to roam and navigate round the landmark on our virtual platform. Simply use your smartphone, tablet, computer or VR headset to really immerse yourself in any of our virtual tours.
